The Practice of Tsetar
during the Four Buddhist Festivals (Duchens)
The Padma Pura Sangha engages in the practice of Tsetar (Life Release) four times a year during the Buddhist festivals known as Duchens. The sangha contributes by donating funds for the release of animals and participating in events held near Amsterdam.
Over the years, this activity has attracted many sponsors and participants, fostering a wonderful opportunity for various sanghas to come together in the meritorious act of saving lives.
